First Tracks is a book for kids that (hopefully) inspires them to spend time outside. First Tracks tells the tale of a kid’s ski trip to a mountain resort and all of the adventures that a kid can have on a ski vacation. I have lived in a ski resort for 30 years and know skiing and snowboarding very well. Jeff Teaford, the illustrator of First Tracks, has been a children’s ski instructor in the Ski Schools of Aspen/Snowmass for many years. First Tracks has been around since 2004 and has been reprinted four times.
